I leave you in the care of Allah, who does not allow anything entrusted to Him to be lost.

أَسْتَوْدِعُكُمُ اللهَ الَّذِيْ لَا تَضِيْعُ وَدَائِعُهُ

Phonetic transliteration

Astawdiʿukumu-llāha-lladhī lā taḍīʿu wadā’iʿuh.

“I leave you in the care of Allah, who does not allow anything entrusted to Him to be lost.”

Virtue & benefit: Abū Hurayrah (radiy Allāhū ‘anhu) said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ bid me farewell and said [the above].” (Ibn Mājah 2825)

يَا شَدِيدَ ٱلْقُوَىٰ

O Lord of mighty prowess! O Lord of mighty power! O Exalted in might! O Exalted in might! O Exalted in might! Submissive to Your Almightiness are all

سبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ * وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

Glory is to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we were not able to do it. And, surely, to our Lord are we returning.

أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ دِيْنَكَ ، وَأَمَانَتَكَ ، وَخَوَاتِيْمَ عَمَلِكَ

I leave your religion, your trust and the last of your deeds in the care of Allah.

زَوَّدَكَ اللَّهُ التَّقْوَى ، وَغَفَرَ ذَنْبَكَ ، وَيَسَّرَ لَكَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ

May Allah grant you Taqwa as your provision, and may He forgive your sin, and may He make goodness easy for you wherever you are.

اللَّهُمَّ اطْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ

O Allah, shorten the distance for him and make travel easy for him.

بسم الله آمنت بالله توكلت على الله ماشاءالله لاحول ولاقوة إلا بالله

In the name of Allah! I have placed faith in Allah and I have put full trust in Allah. (It is) as Allah wills! There is no strength and no power save
