O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and guide me to observe the Destiny Night adequately, being in the most favorable and most pleased…
اللّهُمّ صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِلَيْلَةِ ٱلقَدْرِ عَلَىٰ أَفْضَلِ حَالٍ تُحِبُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَأَرْضَاهَا لَكَ ثُمَّ ٱجْعَلْهَا لِي خَيْراً مِنَ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ وَٱرْزُقْنِي فِيهَا أَفْضَلَ مَا رَزَقْتَ أَحَداً مِمَّنْ بَلَّغْتَهُ إِيَّاهَا وَأَكْرَمْتَهُ بِهَا وَٱجْعَلْنِي فِيهَا مِنْ عُتَقَائِكَ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَطُلَقَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَسُعَدَاءِ خَلْقِكَ بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ وَرِضْوَانِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِٱسْمِكَ: بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنْ كُنْتَ قَضَيْتَ فِي هٰذِهِ ٱللَّيْلَةِ تَنَزَّلَ ٱلْمَلائِكَةِ وَٱلرُّوحِ فِيهَا أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ ٱسْمِي فِي ٱلسُّعَدَاءِ وَرُوحِي مَعَ ٱلشُّهَدَاءِ وَإِحْسَانِي فِي عِلِّيِّينَ وَإِسَاءَتِي مَغْفُورَةً وَأَنْ تَهَبَ لِي يَقِيناً تُبَاشِرُ بِهِ قَلْبِي وَإِيـمَاناً لاَ يَشُوبُهُ شَكٌّ وَرِضَىً بِمَا قَسَمْتَ لِي وَآتِنِي فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي ٱلآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنِي عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ قَضَيْتَ فِي هٰذِهِ ٱللَّيْلَةِ تَنَزَّلَ ٱلْمَلائِكَةِ وَٱلرُّوْحِ فِيهَا فَأَخِّرْنِي إِلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ وَٱرْزُقْنِي فِيهَا ذِكْرَكَ وَشُكْرَكَ وَطَاعَتَكَ وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ فِيمَا تَقْضِي وَتُقَدِّرُ مِنَ ٱلأَمْرِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٱلْمَحْتُومِ فِي لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ مِنَ ٱلْقَضَاءِ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُرَدُّ وَلاَ يُبَدَّلُ أَنْ تَكْتُبَنِي مِنْ حُجَّاجِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْحَرَامِ ٱلْمَبْرُورِ حَجُّهُمْ ٱلْمَشْكُورِ سَعْيُهُمْ ٱلْمَغْفُورِ ذُنُوبُهُمْ ٱلْمُكَفَّرِ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُهُمْ وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ فِيمَا تَقْضِي وَتُقَدِّرُ أَنْ تُطِيلَ عُمْرِي وَتُوَسِّعَ رِزْقِي وَتُؤَدِّيَ عَنِّي أَمَانَتِي وَدَيْنِي آمِينَ رَبَّ ٱلعَالَمِينَ اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي فَرَجاً وَمَخْرَجاً وَٱرْزُقْنِي مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَسِبُ وَمِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ أَحْتَسِبُ وَٱحْرُسْنِي مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَرِسُ وَمِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ أَحْتَرِسُ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ كَثِيراً
Phonetic transliteration
wa waffiqni fihi lilaylati alqadri `ala afdali halin tuhibbu an yakuna `alayha ahadun min awliya'ika wa ardaha laka thumm ij`alha li khayran min alfi shahrin warzuqni fiha afdala ma razaqta ahadan mimman ballaghtahu iyyaha wa akramtahu biha waj`alni fiha min `utaqa'ika min jahannama wa tulaqa'ika min alnnari wa su`ada'i khalqika bimaghfiratika wa ridwanika ya arhama alrrahimina as'aluka bismika: bismi allahi alrrahmani alrrahimi in kunta qadayta fi hadhihi allaylati tanazzala almala'ikati walrruhi fiha an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an taj`ala (i)smi fi alssu`ada'i wa ruhi ma`a alshshuhada'i wa ihsani fi `illiyyina wa isa'ati maghfuratan wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi wa imanan la yashubuhu shakkun wa ridan bima qasamta li wa atini fi alddunya hasanatan wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan wa qini `adhaba alnnari wa in lam takun qadayta fi hadhihi allaylati tanazzala almala'ikati walrruhi fiha fa-akhkhirni ila dhalika warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka wa ta`ataka wa husna `ibadatika wa salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin bi-afdali salawatika ya arhama alrrahimina allahumma inni as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an taj`ala fima taqdi wa tuqaddiru min al-amri al`azimi almahtumi fi laylati alqadri min alqada'i alladhi la yuraddu wa la yubaddalu an taktubani min hujjaji baytika alharami almabruri hajjuhum almashkuri sa`yuhum almaghfuri dhunubuhum almukaffari `anhum sayyi'atuhum wa an taj`ala fima taqdi wa tuqaddiru an tutila `umri wa tuwassi`a rizqi wa tu'addiya `anni amanati wa dayni amina rabba al`alamina allahumma ij`al li min amri farajan wa makhrajan warzuqni min haythu ahtasibu wa min haythu la ahtasibu wahrusni min haythu ahtarisu wa min haythu la ahtarisu wa salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa sallim kathiran
English translation
O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and guide me to observe the Destiny Night adequately, being in the most favorable and most pleased state that You would like to notice from any of Your intimate servants. Then, decide it to be better for me that one thousand months, confer upon me during this night the best conferrals that You ever confer upon any one whom You guide to attain it and whom You honor during it, include me at this night it with those whom You release from Hell whom You manumit from Hellfire and with those of Your creatures who are happy due to Your forgiveness and satisfaction (that reach them). O most Merciful of all those who show mercy! I thus beseech You by Your Name: In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. If you have decided at this night, during which the angels and the Holy Spirit are allowed to descend, to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, add my name to the (list of the) happy ones, add my soul to the martyrs, elevate my good doings exaltedly, decide my ill deeds to be forgiven, grant me conviction with which You fill in my heart, faith free of doubt, satisfaction with that which You decide for me, grant me good in this worldly life and good in the Next World, and save me from the Fire of Hell. And if You have not decided at this night, during which the angels and the Holy Spirit are allowed to descend, then (please) postpone Your decisions about me to that night, confer upon me during it with remembering You, showing gratitude to You, doing acts of obedience to You, and worshipping You in the best manner. And (please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad with Your most favorable blessings, O most Merciful of all those who show mercy! O Allah, I beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, to decide within the decisions that You make, from the great, inevitable affair at the Destiny Night, within the decision that is neither rejected nor altered, to write my name with the pilgrims of Your Holy House, whose Hajj is admitted, whose efforts are praiseworthy, whose sins are forgiven, and whose offenses are pardoned, to decide among the decisions that You make to grant me long lifetime, expand my sustenance, help me fulfill my trusts and settle my debts, and respond to me, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, (please do) make for me relief and an outlet, provide for me from whence I expect and from whence I do not expect, guard me from when I take precautions and from whence I do not take precautions, and send plentiful blessings and benedictions to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
