O He Who has existed before all things, then created all things, and then stays while all things vanish!

0:00 / 0:00يَا ذَا ٱلَّذِي كَانَ قَبْلَ كُِّ شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ خَلَقَ كلَّ شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ يَبْقَىٰ وَيَفْنَىٰ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ يَا ذَا ٱلَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ َيَا ذَا ٱلَّذِي لَيْسَ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ ٱلْعُلَى وَلاَ فِي ٱلأَرَضِينَ لسُّفْلَىٰ وَلاَ فَوْقَهُنَّ وَلاَ تَحْتَهُنَّ وَلاَ بَيْنَهُنَّ إِلٰهٌ يُعْبَدُ غَيْرُهُ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لاَ يَقْوَىٰ عَلَىٰ إِحْصَائِهِ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلاةً لاَ يَقْوَىٰ عَلَىٰ إِحْصَائِهَا إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Phonetic transliteration
ya dha alladhi kana qabla kulli shay'in thumma khalaqa kulla shay'in thumma yabqa wa yafna kullu shay'in ya dha alladhi laysa kamithlihi shay'un wa ya dha alladhi laysa fi alssamawati al`ula wa la fi al-aradina alssufla wa la fawqahunna wa la tahtahunna wa la baynahunna ilahun yu`badu ghayruhu laka alhamdu hamdan la yaqwa `ala ihsa'ihi illa anta fasalli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin salatan la yaqwa `ala ihsa'iha illa anta
English translation
O He Who has existed before all things, then created all things, and then stays while all things vanish! O He Whose like is not found at all! O He neither in the highest heavens nor in the lowest layers of the earth, nor above them, nor beneath them, nor there is between them any god that is worshipped save Him. To You be the praise that none can count save You. So, please bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad with blessings that none can count save You.

In his book of ‘al-Muqni`ah’, Shaykh al-Mufid has narrated on the authority of the trustworthy master scholar, `Ali ibn Mahziyar, that Imam Muhammad al-Taqi (peace be upon him) said that it is recommended to say the following supplication as many times as possible during the month of Ramadan on days and nights from the beginning of the month up to its end:
