رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِيْ صَدْرِيْ ، وَيَسِّرْ لِيْٓٓ أَمْرِيْْ.

Phonetic transliteration

Rabbi-sh-shraḥ lī ṣadrī. Wa yassir lī amrī.

English translation

“My Lord, put my heart at peace for me, and make my task easy for me. (20:25-26)”

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ. وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّح

Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You – and You alone – are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. And accept our repentance. Indeed, You -and You alone –

رَبِّ هَبْ لِيْ حُكْمًا وَّأَلْحِقْنِيْ بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ. وَاجْعَلْ لِيْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِيْنَ. وَاجْعَلْنِيْ

My Lord, grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous. And grant that I may be spoken of with honour amongst the later generations. And make me amon
