رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مُقِيْمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِيْ ، رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ. رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ.

Phonetic transliteration

Rabbij-ʿalnī muqīma-ṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriy-yatī Rabbanā wa taqabbal duʿā’. Rabbana-ghfir lī wa li-wālidayya wa lil-mu’minīna yawma yaqūmul-ḥisāb.

English translation

“My Lord, make me steadfast in salāh, and my offspring as well. Our Lord, accept my prayer. Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and all the believers on the Day when the Reckoning will take place. (14:40-1)”

رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِيْ فَرْدًا وَّأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوٰرِثِيْنَ.
