0:00 / 0:00أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ذُو ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ وَ أَسْأَلُهُ أَنْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيَّ تَوْبَةَ عَبْدٍ ذَلِيلٍ خَاضِعٍ فَقِيرٍ بَائِسٍ مِسْكِينٍ مُسْتَكِينٍ مُسْتَجِيرٍ لاَ يَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِهِ نَفْعَاً وَلاَ ضَرّاً وَلاَ مَوْتاً وَلاَ حَيَاةً وَلاَ نُشُوراً ا َللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ صَلاَةٍ لاَ تُرْفَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لاَ يُسْمَعُ اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ ٱلْيُسْرَ بَعْدَ ٱلْعُسْرِ وَٱلْفَرَجَ بَعْدَ ٱلْكَرْبِ وَٱلرَّخَاءَ بَعْدَ ٱلشِّدَّةِ اَللَّهُمَّ مَا بِنَا مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْكَ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ حَمْدًا لِلهِ.
Phonetic transliteration
astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyumu alrrahmani alrrahimu dhu aljalali wal-ikrami wa as'aluhu an yatuba `alayya tawbata `abdin dhalilin khadi`in faqirin ba'isin miskinin mustakinin mustajirin la yamliku linafsihi naf`an wa la darran wa la mawtan wa la hayatan wa la nushuran allahumma inni a`udhu bika min nafsin la tashba`u wa min qalbin la yakhsha`u wa min `ilmin la yanfa`u wa min salatin la turfa`u wa min du`a'in la yusma`u allahumma inni as'aluka alyusra ba`da al`usri walfaraja ba`da alkarbi walrrakha'a ba`da alshshiddati allahumma ma bina min ni`matin faminka la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayka hamdan lillaahe.
English translation
I pray the forgiveness of Allah; there is no god save Him, the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting, the All-compassionate, the All-merciful, and the Lord of Majesty and Honor. And I ask Him to accept my repentance, like His acceptance of the repentance of a slave who is submissive, acquiescent, poor, miserable, despondent, dejected, seeking refuge (with Him), not controlling for himself any harm or profit, and not controlling death nor life nor raising (the dead) to life. O Allah, I surely seek Your protection against a self that never has enough, a heart that does not feel apprehension, knowledge that does not avail, a prayer that is not accepted, and a supplication that is not responded. O Allah, I surely beseech You for easiness after difficulty, relief after misfortune, and comfort after hardship. O Allah, You are certainly the source of each and every favor that covers us. There is no god save You. I pray Your forgiveness and repent before You. Praise is for Allah.
