0:00 / 0:00أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إلَيْهِ. أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهَ رَبِّي وَأَتُوبُ إلَيْهِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي امْسَيْتُ لَكَ عَبْداً دَاخِراً لاَ امْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي نَفْعاً وَلاَ ضَرّاً وَلاَ اصْرِفُ عَنْهَا سُوءً اشْهَدُ بِذٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِي وَاعْتَرِفُ لَكَ بِضَعْفِ قُوَّتِي وَقِلَّةِ حِيلَتِي فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَانْجِزْ لِي مَا وَعَدْتَنِي وَجَمِيعَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ مِنَ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ فِي هٰذِهِ ٱللَّيْلَةِ وَاتْمِمْ عَلَيَّ مَا آتَيْتَنِي فَإِنِّي عَبْدُكَ ٱلْمِسكِينُ ٱلْمُسْتَكِينُ ٱلضَّعِيفُ ٱلْفَقِيرُ ٱلْمَهِينُ اللَّهُمَّ لاَ تَجْعَلْنِي نَاسِياً لِذِكْرِكَ فِيمَا اوْلَيْتَنِي وَلاَ غَافِلاً لإِحْسَانِكَ فِيمَا اعْطَيْتَنِي وَلاَ آيِساً مِنْ إِجَابَتِكَ وَإِنْ اَبْطَاتْ عَنِّي فِي سَرَّاءَ اوْ ضَرَّاءَ اوْ شِدَّةٍ اوْ رَخَاءٍ اوْ عَافِيَةٍ اوْ بَلاءٍ اوْ بُؤْسٍ اوْ نَعْمَاءَ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَاءِ
Phonetic transliteration
astaghfiru allaha wa atubu ilayhi astaghfiru allaha rabby wa atubu ilayhi allahumma inni amsaytu laka `abdan dakhiran la amliku linafsi naf`an wa la darran wa la asrifu `anha su'an ashhadu bidhalika `ala nafsi wa a`tarifu laka bida`fi quwwati wa qillati hilati fasalli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa anjiz li ma wa`adtani wa jami`a almu'minina walmu'minati min almaghfirati fi hadhihi allaylati wa atmim `alayya ma ataytani fa'inni `abduka almiskinu almustakinu aldda`ifu alfaqiru almahinu allahumma la taj`alni nasiyan lidhikrika fima awlaytani wa la ghafilan li'ihsanika fima a`taytani wa la ayisan min ijabatika wa in abta'at `anni fi sarra'a aw darra'a aw shiddatin aw rakha'in aw `afiyatin aw bala'in aw bu'sin aw na`ma'a innaka sami`u alddu`a'i
English translation
I seek the forgiveness of Allah and I repent before Him. I seek the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I repent before Him I have passed the evening as a very humble servant of Yours I have no control over the gains and losses for my self and I cannot drive back any evil from myself. I testify to this against myself. To You do I confess of my powerlessness and my feebleness. So, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and fulfill what You have promised me, as well as all the believing men and women; that is Your forgiveness at this night, and accomplish that which You have conferred upon me, for I am Your slave—the poor, the humble, the weak, the needy, and the humiliated. O Allah, (please) do not make me negligent of Your mention as regards that which You have bestowed upon me, do not make me inadvertent to Your favors to me as regards that which You have given me, do not make me despair of Your responding to me, even if such response is postponed, whether I be in prosperity, adversity, hardship, comfort, wellbeing, ordeal, misery, or bliss. Verily, You are the Hearer of prayers.
