اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ كَفَانَا وَأَرْوَانَا ، غَيْرَ مَكْفِىٍّ وَلَا مَكْفُوْرٍ.

Phonetic transliteration

Al-ḥamdu lillāhi-lladhī kafānā wa arwānā, ghayra makfiyyiw-wa lā makfūr.

English translation

“Praise be to Allah Who has sufficed us and quenched our thirst unsufficed and unrejected.”

Virtue & benefit: Abū Umāmah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrated that finished eating and the table spread would be lifted from in front of him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say [the above]. (Bukhārī 5459)

After Eating #1

Allah be praised with an abundant beautiful blessed praise, a never-ending praise, a praise which we will never bid farewell to and an indispensable p

After Eating #4

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِيْنَ.

All praise is for Allah, who has fed us and given us drink and made us Muslims.

After Eating #6

اَللّٰهُمَّ أَطْعَمْتَ وَأَسْقَيْتَ ، وَهَدَيْتَ وَأَحْيَيْتَ ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ مَا أَعْطَيْتَ.

O Allah, You have fed and given to drink, You have guided us and revived us. So, to You be all praise for what You have granted.

After Eating #7

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ أَطْعَمَ وَسَقَىٰ ، وَسَوَّغَهُ وَجَعَلَ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا.

Praise be to Allah, Who has provided [food and drink], made it easy to swallow, and made a way out for it.
