أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللّٰهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ ، وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ وَأَنْ يَّحْضُرُوْنِ.

Phonetic transliteration

Aʿūdhu bi-kalimātil-llāhi-t-tāmmāti min ghaḍabihi wa ʿiqābih, wa sharri ʿibādih, wa min hamazāti-sh-shayāṭīni wa ay-yaḥaḍurūn.

English translation

“I seek protection in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and punishment, from the evil of His servants, and from the evil suggestions of the devils and from them appearing to me.”

Virtue & benefit: ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When one of you becomes frightened during sleep, then let him say: [the above]. For verily, they shall not harm him.” He said: “So ʿAbdullah b. ʿAmr (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) used to teach it to those of his children who attained maturity, and those of them who did not, he would write it on a sheet and then hang it around their neck.” (Tirmidhī 3528, Aḥmad 6696)

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

Du’a for parents and entire ummah:

رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ

Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.

Dua For Parents Forgiveness

رَّبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيۡتِيَ مُؤۡمِنٗا وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظ

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoer

Du’a to recite for visiting a sick person:

أَسْـأَلُ اللهَ العَـظيـم رَبَّ العَـرْشِ العَـظيـم أَنْ يَشْفـيك (سبع مرات)

I ask Almighty Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to make you well. (Recite seven times in Arabic).
